Last night saw a charity rugby match played at Ballymore in Brisbane. Triple M radio station organised the event which saw 20 000 rugby fans watch a classic All Black team play a classic Wallaby team.
Our spirits were un-dampened despite the Kiwi's giving the Wallabies a bit of a touch-up as a whole lot of money was raised for the Christchurch earthquake appeal. Our office's resident Kiwi - Will Campbell - had the great idea that we put together a commerative t-shirt, organise printing 500 of them and donate to Triple M who would sell them for $20 a go.
Bingo! - 500 t-shirts - $10K for Christchurch not to mention over $400 000 in other donations and gate receipts.
Double fist pumps all round.
