We have all been there...  your boss drops a bombshell on you...  "I need you to organise this quickly... very quickly"!

This was exactly the situation that Alicia from Automotive Holding Group found herself in.  5 days to organise a selection of merchandise for a community event that was sprung upon her. 

As an-ongoing client of Promotion Products she knew we would rise to the challenge - caps, bags, notebooks, compendiums - all branded and in her hands in 5 days. 

Of course whilst we normally like a little more time we know how to get things done too.

The Formula

Time is of the essence, let's consider what needs to be done...  call us, we find the right product, get confirmed stock numbers, give you a quote, organise artwork, approve artwork, you pay, we decorate and dispatch the product.  That all sounds straightforward, lets break it all down quickly!

 

Know what you want.
Sounds obvious but you need to be clear on what type of products you want, where and when. Time goes very quickly during a rush order, remember that your order needs to join a production queue so everything else has to go smoothly.

 

Call... don't submit web enquiries.
The temptation is to hit the web and visit several websites searching for rush supply, submit quote requests.   Whilst that seems like a good idea it will take several hours to gather quotes.  If you need product in 5 days taking half a day to gather quotes has just used 10% of your time-frame. You don't have that luxury.

Select products from the website - maybe three different options for each product and then hit the phone.  If you can tell someone what you want they will take your enquiry seriously.  They can quickly refine your options into what is possible.

 

Find The Right Product...in the Right Place.
Location, location, location!  Let's consider Alicia's notebooks.  Browsing our notebook product gallery: notebooks there are 87 options.  These come from different importers in different locations - Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and NZ.  For Alicia in Melbourne we needed a notebook stocked in Melbourne.  During a 5 day rush order a notebook taking 2-3 days coming from Brisbane was not an option. We will advise you what can and can't be done.

 

What's in stock?
There is no point us offering what does not exist.  With over 46000 product/colours available on our website showing accurate stock is tough.  If you call us we can confirm stock within minutes.

 

Get a quote... fast
With a customised quoting platform if you ask us for a quote and tell us you need it in 10 minutes we can do that...and check stock at the same time.Some products may attract a rush order surcharge - this will be quoted if applicable.

 

Approve the quote and send us your artwork
Simply email us back and instruct us to proceed, attach your artwork and be ready for a call.  In a rush order we want to nail your design/proof straightaway so will call you so our instruction to our graphics team nails your brief - fast.  We aim to proof rush orders within 2 hours.

 

Approve... quickly
Get ready to review the proof and approve it.  The boss that has dropped this on us and can't be on a four hour lunch :) (that's another 10% of your time budget of 5 days)Ask us for any quick revisions.

Pay
Customised products don't go into production until paid for.  We will invoice you quickly after your proof approval, pay by credit card or email us remittance advice.

 

Production and Dispatch
There is nothing more for you to do.  We have your required by date and will meet heaven and earth to make that happen once we commit.  We have express production options for our clients.
