The Brief

Wacker Neuson needed a uniform program that matched the quality of its machinery.

Previously, apparel for the Australian team was sourced through the company’s European office, creating long lead times, higher costs and limited local flexibility. The range also needed to support more than staff alone, it had to work for the dealer network, customer-facing teams and field environments across Australia.

The brief was to create a premium, cohesive uniform and merchandise program that looked professional, performed in real work settings, reduced reliance on international supply and gave Wacker Neuson Australia a repeatable local solution.

The Solution

We built the program around one clear idea: premium machinery deserves premium representation.

StormTech was selected for its mix of technical performance, durability and polished presentation. The range was developed as a complete branded wardrobe, including performance polos, softshell vests and softshell jackets across men’s and women’s styles.

To give the client full confidence, the process was hands-on from the start. The account manager flew from Brisbane to Melbourne to walk the client through the supplier’s facility, allowing them to inspect garments, compare fits, feel fabrics and make decisions based on real samples rather than catalogue images.

Embroidery was chosen for a premium, long-lasting finish, with careful attention given to logo placement, colour accuracy and brand consistency. A pre-production sample was also offered before the full run, helping reduce risk and ensure the finished garments matched expectations.

The Result

The program delivered 300 premium garments across three core categories: polos, vests and jackets.

It replaced a slow European supply pathway with a faster, locally managed Australian solution, giving Wacker Neuson better control, easier reordering and a stronger national brand presentation.

The range gave staff a professional uniform system they could wear across office, showroom, dealer, customer and field environments. It also created a repeatable merchandise store range, giving the dealer network ongoing access to approved branded apparel.

Staff feedback was strongly positive, especially around the StormTech jackets, which became garments the team were genuinely excited to wear.

The result was more than a uniform order. It was a premium apparel program that solved a supply problem, supported staff and dealers, improved brand consistency, and gave Wacker Neuson clothing that finally matched the quality of its machinery.
